DESCRIPTION:The Spizzwinks of Yale University is the World’s Oldest Underclassman A Cappella Group\, performing concerts all over the world. Since 1914\, they’ve entertained audiences around the world with original arrangements of well-known songs and signature humor. Now in their 112th year\, the ’Winks are producing another album and touring throughout the US\, Peru\, and New Zealand. They are making a rare stop in North Carolina\, so don’t miss them! DESCRIPTION:A Shred-it truck is coming to town – at our church! Securely shredding papers with confidential and personal information protects your data from thieves. This includes old tax documents\, junk mail\, photos\, unnecessary receipts\, old bills\, etc. Staples and paper clips are fine. This is a free service for the community provided by the church. Donations accepted with net proceeds going to BEPC Hurricane Helene Victims Relief Fund. \nFraud is a frequent and ongoing threat to both businesses and consumers. Securely shredding papers with confidential and personal information protects data from identity thieves. Any document that includes personal information\, such as names\, addresses\, and account numbers\, can be used by identity thieves for fraudulent activities. \nAfter the paper has been securely shredded\, the confetti-sized pieces are bundled and provided to paper mills for recycling and repurposing into paper products. DESCRIPTION:During this very special service\, the choir presents anthems that tell the Christmas story along with scripture readings and the lighting of the joy candle. We are especially excited to welcome a string quartet featuring Maria Kindt\, Myra Ann Patterson\, Maria Kallestad\, and Jayden Toomey. In addition\, Laura Russell and David Soyars play a four-hand accompaniment for the Gaelic Alleluia – with Janet Speer on percussion! The choir will also sing Mary’s Magnificat\, The Wexford Carol\, Jesus\, Jesus Rest Your Head\, How Great Our Joy and a glorious arrangement of The First Noel. Please join us as we tell\, sing\, and express our joy for the precious gift of our Lord and Savior. The choir has been working diligently with added rehearsals to make up for missed time due to the storm\, so please invite your friends and neighbors.
